About Us
Often in
our spiritual journeys, God uses past hurt and brokenness to help us
better understand others in similar situations. Such is the case for us at
Mid-Valley Fellowship. Through our own lives and experiences, God has
enabled us to "comfort ... with the comfort [we] have received from God"
(II Corinthians 1:4b).

Duan
Walker, Executive Director
(E-Mail
Duan)
Duan is a
co-founder and the Executive Director of Mid-Valley Fellowship. He was
raised in a small town in Arkansas, and relocated to the northwest in 1990
and the Mid-Valley in 1998. In 2005, Duan left his corporate career to
pursue a ministry internship at our sister ministry
Portland Fellowship. He had an opportunity
to develop ministry skills and put them into practice in a well-established
ministry. As the internship came to a close, Duan felt called to return to
Albany and begin a new ministry serving the Central Willamette Valley.

Jonathan Eick, Ministry Intern (E-Mail
Jonathan)
Jonathan will be interning
at Mid-Valley Fellowship during the upcoming year. He has lived in Albany
for the last 10 years. In 2009, Jonathan was a volunteer leader at MVF,
leading worship for one of our discipleship and support programs, Taking
Back Ground. During the last year, Jonathan attended Capernwray Bible School
in Carnforth, England. He is continuing his passion and calling for ministry
by interning at MVF. He hopes to gain experience and learn first hand how to
show Christ’s love and freedom to others in an established ministry. He is
very excited to see what adventure God has for him through this next year. |
