Taking Back Ground

This two-year discipleship and support program is designed for men and women seeking to heal from sexual and relational brokenness. It equips those struggling with unwanted homosexual desires by providing tools to walk a victorious life. The program includes worship, teaching, and small group participation. Each year has three sections of seven lessons with topics listed below.

Understanding Homosexuality

Discover the root issues contributing to a struggle with homosexuality, learn more about how we've been designed by God, and wrestle with how to respond to past issues and hurts.

Knowing God in Our Struggle

Learn about reconciling our relationship with God, in light of a struggle with homosexuality, and begin developing an accurate picture of God and how He sees us.

Walking Out the Process

Take a closer look at past patterns in relationship, while extending and receiving forgiveness and reconciliation. Combat temptation through accountable relationships.

Developing a Healthy Identity

Replace past misconceptions about identity with an accurate picture of masculinity and femininity. Develop new ways of relating with appropriate boundaries in relationship.

Breaking Free

Address issues that feed destructive behaviors, while combating deception. Grasp your identity in Christ and remove barriers to relationship, such as narcissism, envy, and un-repentance.

Growing in Christian Maturity

Prepare for departure from the program by discussing disclosure and learning to confront ambivalence and procrastination. Understand how to deal with failure and contemplate service.
