Marilyn has been pianist and organist for various churches for over 50 years. She graduated from Biola University with a Bachelor of Music in piano performance and went on to teach piano and to accompany vocal soloists, instrumentalists and choirs in schools and colleges for competitions and performances. While in Sitka Alaska she served on the faculty of the award-winning Sitka Fine Arts Camp for 3 summers. She’s a member of the Music Teachers National Association and the Oregon Music Teachers Association. Currently she plays with Iris Duo, a 4-hand piano duo that performs in churches and retirement homes in the area.
Join Mid-Valley Fellowship for a quiet, reflective evening of classical and sacred music, featuring pianist Marilyn Reischke and flutist Emily Stanek. The concert is also a benefit for Mid-Valley Fellowship, a local Christian organization helping individuals obtain sexual wholeness.

Dr. Emily Stanek Emily is the Artist Associate in flute at Willamette University as well as the flute instructor at Corban University and Chemeketa Community College. Emily serves as principal flute with the Willamette Pro Musica and is an active freelance musician with various orchestras throughout Oregon, including the Oregon Symphony, Eugene Symphony, Eugene Opera, Corvallis Symphony, and the Oregon Mozart Players. Throughout her career, Dr. Stanek has received numerous invitations and won various competitions to perform as a soloist with orchestras including the Ball State University Symphony Orchestra, the Shenandoah Conservatory Symphony Orchestra, the Anderson Symphony Orchestra, the East Central Indiana Chamber Orchestra, the Kokomo Symphony Youth Orchestra, the Anderson University Orchestra, the Corban University Chamber Orchestra, and the Salem Philharmonia. Her playing has received for her prizes at various national competitions, including the San Diego Young Artist Gold Competition, the National Flute Association Orchestral Excerpt Competition, and the NFA Master Class Performers Competition. |
