About Us
a local Christian organization helping individuals obtain sexual and relational wholeness in the midst of a broken and confused world |
Often in our spiritual journeys, God uses past hurt and brokenness to help us better understand others in similar situations. Such is the case for us at Mid-Valley Fellowship. Through our own lives and experiences, God has enabled us to "comfort ... with the comfort [we] have received from God" (II Corinthians 1:4b).
Mid-Valley Fellowship is a non-profit, interdenominational ministry, serving the Central Willamette Valley (Albany, Corvallis, Eugene, and Salem). We are not a mental health facility. Instead our methodology utilizes personal testimonies, trained lay counseling, Biblical instruction, and Christ-centered accountability groups. For more information, check out our Mission Statement and Doctrinal Statement. |
Duan Walker - Executive DirectorDuan is a co-founder and the Executive Director of Mid-Valley Fellowship. He was raised in a small town in Arkansas, and relocated to the northwest in 1990 and the Mid-Valley in 1998. In 2005, Duan left his corporate career to pursue a ministry internship at our sister ministry Portland Fellowship. He had an opportunity to develop ministry skills and put them into practice in a well-established ministry. As the internship came to a close, Duan felt called to return to Albany and begin a new ministry serving the Central Willamette Valley. Read Duan's full story.
Duan has spoken at churches, schools, small groups, and consulted with ministry leaders and teams. |

Dwight Wolfe - Men's SupportDwight has served as a volunteer leader at Mid-Valley Fellowship since 2010, helping others find freedom as he did in his own struggle. He has learned that freedom from sexual addiction is possible, but it is a journey, not a destination, and it cannot be traveled alone. God has given him a strong desire to walk alongside others who desire to free themselves from this sin. In 2018, Dwight joined the Mid-Valley Fellowship staff team, offering individual support to men struggling with sexual brokenness. His approach to counseling is to mirror what he has learned and experienced in his own recovery: that his behavior was a coping mechanism as a result of deep-seated fears and struggles that he did not know how to address.

Mandy Jorgens - Women's SupportAfter 17 years of marriage and 3 children, Mandy found out about her husband's pornography addiction. She came to Mid-Valley Fellowship for support in 2015 and attended the Hope Together program for spouses. She found freedom from crippling anxiety and depression, sex abuse, and betrayal trauma through groups and individual counseling. In 2020-21, she completed the Erēmos Internship and found more healing and a desire to walk alongside other women through their own trauma and life issues. She is excited to counsel women in a more official capacity, as someone who has found freedom from the pain and wants to glorify God by passing along His powerful redemptive heart.
